The new Equinox from Chevy is in the third generation in seventeen years of being manufactured. The Equinox comes in four trims from the LS, LT, RS, and PREMIUM. The five-passenger model has plenty of room to take the entire family out to the Rogue Valley Zipline Adventure. The Equinox comes standard in front-wheel drive, but an added option of the all-wheel drive will help tackle any steep mountain range in Southern Oregon.
New/Unique Features
The Equinox has been enhanced with new features for the 2022 model. With new LED headlight and taillights and more safety features, driving those misty mornings to work or school will be child’s play. The RS model has been brought into the trim selection with a sportier style. This trim has been built with a blacked-out grille and dark android-painted wheels: a head-turning sight to see at the curb in Medford.
Another new updated feature is the Confidence and Convenience package. Starting at the base trim model in the LS, this added option comes with remote car starter, heated front seats, blind-spot monitoring, and a power liftgate. As you go up the line, the Premium brings a wireless charging pad, upgraded backup camera, and more. The Confidence and Convenience package level two’s option includes a bird’s eye view of your surroundings when parking the Premium.
Safety
Whether you are hitting the curving foothills to get to the beautiful waterfalls or heading to the Jackson County Fair, the Equinox provides a 7-inch and an 8-inch upgraded trim heads-up infotainment display. The Equinox has an added feature, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, for when the roads get busy around Bear Creek to keep the whole family safe. Chevy brings to your fingertips access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto apps without fumbling with your phone. The upgraded display in the Premium comes with navigation to get you to your favorite Rogue Valley activity.
