A good day begins with a great breakfast, and Medford, OR is one of the prime spots in the state to enjoy a morning meal. Read on to discover the best breakfast places in town.

1. Brothers’ Restaurant

Brothers’ Restaurant has been a fresh and tasty staple of the local community since 1976. We’re big fans of the Scrambles that come with the choice of side, a bread product, and packed full of fillings such as sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata olives in the Mediterranean or pesto and sockeye salmon in the Wild Salmon. If you prefer a lighter meal to start your day, we enjoy Bob’s Breakfast featuring a homemade scone, yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit.

You’ll have a difficult time choosing between specialties ranging from the Huevos con Chorizo with cheddar cheese and pinto beans to the Corned Beef Hash with bell peppers and thyme. For customers with a sweet tooth, we recommend the Housemade Cheese Blintzes with lemon and strawberry compote or the Housemade Potato Pancakes with sour cream and homemade apple sauce. Try a Combo Breakfast with either pancakes or French toast to sample it all.

2. Punky’s Diner & Pies

Punky’s Diner & Pies is known for its retro-style charm, homemade American classics, and generous portions of breakfast served all day long. Omelets are made with three eggs, and we particularly enjoy the California with avocado, the Portland with black olives and feta, and the Pioneer featuring chicken fried steak and gravy. A cup of oats or grits makes the perfect addition to your meal, and available toppings include brown sugar, raisins, nuts, butter, and milk.

One of Punky’s skillets made with red potatoes and toast is guaranteed to power you through your day, and our favorites include the Popeye with spinach, the CFS with sausage gravy, and the CBH made from the corned beef hash. Mix and match choices such as turkey bacon, mashed potato cakes, cottage cheese, biscuits, or a pancake to create your ideal All-American Breakfast. Don’t forget one of Punky’s famous pies for a special a.m. sweet treat!

3. Elmer’s Restaurant

Elmer’s Restaurant has been beloved across the Northwest for more than sixty years, and it’s easy for us to see why. Benedict lovers will enjoy the Dungeness Crab Benedict with smokehouse bacon and tomato, while diners who prefer a classic breakfast can’t go wrong with the Oregon Trail Steak & Eggs served with a warm buttermilk biscuit. Skillets can be made with egg whites upon request, and we especially love the Saturday Market Skillet with hickory-smoked ham.

Crepes are a special Elmer’s treat, and either the Lingonberry Crepes with berries and powdered sugar or the Fruit Festival Crepes with cream cheese icing are a sure delight. If you prefer pancakes, we’re currently swooning over the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes made with buttermilk and the Classic German Pancakes topped with lemon wedges. For a savory breakfast that’s sure to satisfy, order the Farmer’s Omelet with pork sausage, Swiss cheese, potatoes, and gravy.

The breakfast of your dreams awaits you at any of these restaurants, and we’re already planning our next trip. After you’ve savored your pick from the menu, head over to Airport Chevrolet GMC to shop for vehicles, services, parts, and more!
