Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty
This warranty covers almost every component in your Chevy against any unforeseen issue with its materials or workmanship. Coverage duration is three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage is excluded due to damage caused by lack of maintenance, the use of unauthorized parts, or any unauthorized alternations.
This warranty also covers any defects in your tires. The labor cost for replacing tires is covered in full for the warranty duration, and the cost of any replacement tires is prorated depending on mileage. In addition, if your Chevy needs to be towed to a dealer for a warranty repair, towing is provided at no charge.
Powertrain Limited Warranty
The powertrain consists of all the systems that enable your Chevy to move. Your engine, transmission, transaxle, transmission case, and drive system are all protected against any issue for the first five years or 60,000 miles.
The full list of components covered by this warranty is provided in your warranty booklet.
Restraint System Warranty
Your seatbelt system and airbags are protected against any manufacturing-related issues for six years or 72,000 miles.
Sheet Metal Warranty
Your Chevy is protected against corrosion and rust due to specialized processes applied during the manufacturing process. This warranty provides complete protection against corrosion or rust-through, which is rust that forms a hole through metal from one side to the other. Any metal section damaged by either of these conditions will be replaced at no charge during the warranty period.
Corrosion protection applies for the first three years or 36,000 miles. Rust-through protection has an extended duration of six years or 100,000 miles. Surface rust caused by an accident is not covered by this warranty.
California Emission Control System Warranty
The California emissions standards have been adopted here in Oregon. Your Chevy is built to conform to all Federal and California emissions standards, and its emissions control system can convert almost all toxic combustion byproducts into harmless ones. In the unlikely event of your Chevy failing a smog check during the warranty period due to a fault with an emissions system component, all necessary repairs will be made to ensure it passes the follow-up inspection.
Most emissions system components are covered for two years or 24,000 miles. Some components, like the catalytic converter and engine control module are protected for eight years or 80,000 miles.
