Additionally, we’ll unveil the choices available under the Powertrain, Silver, and Platinum Protection Plans, giving you insight into comprehensive coverage beyond the initial factory warranties.

Standard Warranties

Before we take a look at your extension options, let’s highlight some of the protection you automatically receive when you buy your new Chevy:

Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty

This comprehensive warranty covers your Chevy against any issue with your car due to labor or material deficiency. It also includes tire protection against manufacturer defects and the cost of towing to an authorized dealership. Regular wear and tear isn’t covered under the warranty. This warranty is applicable for the first three years/36,000 miles from the day you buy your car.

Powertrain Warranty

The powertrain warranty covers the components in your engine, transmission, and drivetrain against the rare chance of a material or labor issue. Some components are not covered in the warranty, for example, the radiator or wiring. This warranty is valid for the first five years/60,000 miles.

Rust-Through Protection

All body metal and sheet metal are protected against rust-through, that is rust eating through the metal from one side to the other. This warranty covers your Chevy for the first six years/100,000 miles.

Protection Plan Options

There are three protection plans available, namely the powertrain, silver, and platinum plans. You can also select the term and the deductible. The plan you choose takes effect the instant the regular warranties expire to give you continual coverage.

Powertrain Protection Plan

This plan covers some of your car’s most important systems, namely the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. All the components covered are listed in the plan.

Silver Protection Plan

Everything in the previous plan is included, and coverage is extended to your front and rear suspension, climate control, electrical systems, steering, and brakes.

Platinum Protection Plan

Everything covered in the previous two plans is included in this plan. Coverage is extended to your high-tech, audio, and navigation systems. A total of 1,500 parts and components are protected. The only components not covered are specified in the plan contract. You can choose a coverage term of up to eight years/100,000 miles.

Repairs can be stressful, especially if they’re needed when you least expect them. Selecting a protection plan is a great way to save money and give yourself peace of mind. Visit us today at Airport Chevrolet GMC in Medford, OR, to choose the plan that works for you.
