Engine
As a full-size SUV, the Yukon delivers full-size power. Lower trims feature GMC's 5.3-liter V-8 that generates 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Add the Max Trailering Package, and you can take advantage of an 8,400-pound towing capacity. For even more power, go with the Denali. It gives you a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 that generates 460 pound-feet of torque. If you love the efficiency of a diesel-powered vehicle, a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine is also available. It puts out 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque while enabling the Yukon to go for 648 miles on a single tank of fuel.
Performance
To enhance the Yukon's selection of powerful engines, GMC equips every Yukon with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This state-of-the-art system delivers seamless gear shifts and solid handling. The AT4 adds an AutoTrac transfer case that can revert from four-wheel drive to two-wheel drive as you travel from off-road terrain to more stable surfaces. A redesigned adaptive suspension gives the Yukon exceptional ground clearance in any driving situation.
Interior
The Yukon is all about versatility, which is why you can choose between a seven-seat and eight-seat cabin. Both configurations give your crew plenty of room to luxuriate in the leather seating surfaces that feature in the SLE and SLT models. Inside the AT4, you'll find a sleek and sporty black and brandy color scheme. With the Denali, you can choose from four color schemes, each enhanced by fractal stitching and wood accents.
