2021 GMC Acadia
Meet the 2021 GMC Acadia, a family SUV with a bold new look. Your neighbors will do a double take when they see the refined exterior, and you'll be thrilled with the premium craftsmanship inside the spacious cabin. Your Acadia has all the latest technology too, keeping you connected and safe. Here's a closer look at some of the best features you'll love on the 2021 Acadia.
Trim Levels
GMC's signature C-shaped LED headlights illuminate the way forward, while LED fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights finish off the lighting package. The SLE and SLT trims feature 18- and 20-inch wheels and a programmable power liftgate.
The AT4 is all about off-road and comes with 17-inch gloss black wheels with all-terrain tires. Its black chrome grille, roof rails, and accents all around give the AT4 style. GMC's top trim is the Denali, and it's loaded with iconic style, starting with a chrome grille, 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, and chrome accents and body-side molding. A new Elevation trim features a black grille, black 20-inch wheels, black emblems, and black headlight and taillight trims.
Engine
You have three engine options on the Acadia, starting with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. It features active fuel management and start/stop technology for enhanced efficiency and is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain gets 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque.
Next up is the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This twin-scrolling turbo is paired with the same transmission and puts out 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Finally, there's the 3.6-liter V-6 engine with active fuel management and start/stop technology. This powertrain pumps out 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
You'll drive with confidence with Acadia's Traction Select System. You have four selectable drive modes with front-wheel-drive models. Normal mode is for everyday driving. Select Snow mode for when the weather gets nasty. Choose Sport mode and dial in your Acadia's performance for a more thrilling ride. Trailer/Tow mode is how you get your toys around. All-wheel-drive models add the Off-Road mode, making your next off the beaten path adventure possible. The AWD system uses active torque control, which intelligently sends power to the wheel that needs it most.
Interior
With seating for up to seven, you can take the whole family and still have plenty of cargo space. Your Acadia can come with leather-appointed seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, while the AT4 trim has the logo stitched into the headrest. Aluminum trim or real ash wood accents add a sophisticated style.
The latest technology like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will keep you connected. Send calls, texts, access your favorite apps, and more hands-free.
Safety Features
GMC's Pro Safety Plus is available on the SLE and standard on the other trims. This suite of driver-assist technology includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and more. The suite uses a combination of radar and optical sensors to watch your Acadia's surroundings, alerting you to potential hazards. It can even apply emergency braking or gentle steering to help should you fail to react.
