2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
When you have a pickup truck at your disposal, you can enjoy immense capabilities along with some of the latest technology and a spacious interior. While there are plenty of pickups on the market, none are quite like the Silverado 1500. The latest iteration of this stunning truck has more features than ever, making now an ideal time to upgrade your ride. Check out the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, and discover what it can offer you.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The new Chevy Silverado 1500 comes in seven trim levels, each of which has its own unique exterior features. The lowest WT trim offers a rear bumper corner step and stylish 17-inch wheels. Opt for the Custom to get 20-inch wheels and LED cargo bed lights. The LT also gains LED headlights.
At the RST level, the Silverado 1500 gets a sportier design with body-colored bumpers and LED fog lamps. At the LTZ level, you can enjoy chrome bumpers and the option for a power sunroof. With the High Country, the Silverado is outfitted with all-terrain tires and 20-inch wheels. If you're interested in the top level, the ZR2 trim boasts 33-inch tires and skid plate protection for premier off-roading capabilities.
Engine (Power)
Under the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado's hood, you can enjoy one of four engine options. The base engine is a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-four with 310 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. If you're looking for more power, you can upgrade to the 5.3-liter V-8 engine with its 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Next up, the V-8 has a 6.2-liter displacement offering 420 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque. Finally, a 3-liter diesel inline-six offers 277 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
When it comes to performance, a truck's most impressive feature is its capability. The new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard. It offers a towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, which not many other trucks on the market can match. Even if you opt for the smaller V-8 engine, you still get a maximum capacity of 11,500 pounds. In terms of payload, the Silverado 1500 can handle between 1,870 and 2,280 pounds, depending on which trim level you choose.
Interior
Inside the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, you'll find a comfortable and spacious interior your rear passengers, in particular, will enjoy, as the crew cab offers an impressive 43.4 inches of legroom. If you're more interested in integrated technology, the Silverado 1500 offers a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 13.4-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. Of course, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility are available too.
Safety Features
The 2023 Chevy Silverado's features are many, with automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring coming standard on all trim levels and models. The truck itself is designed for safety, with high-strength steel working to direct kinetic energy around the cabin instead of through it. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration even awarded this year's Chevrolet Silverago 1500 a full five stars for its overall safety rating.
